It’s a sad day for agriculture and education.

Bulrush Farm is no longer offering Farm Tours.

Our insurance wants to charge us liability as a tour, but also as a petting zoo. The cost to host tours would far exceed anything we would ever make.

These are the “fine margins” in farming that get cut when profits are already tight in this industry.

We apologize for the cancellations.

Without of greenhouse assembled, we seed start indoors by sunny windows, then daily increase outdoor sun exposure so plants aren’t shocked when planted outside.

It’s a little extra work, but the point is to show you gardening can be done efficiently and inexpensively with what you have on hand now.

I also reuse my seed and pot trays. Some of these, this is my 7th season!

Farm tours tailored to your family or group!

I can do anytime on Fridays or Sundays and after 4:30 M-Th.

If you want to have friends join that’s fine too.
You’re welcome to bring your own picnic.

We have a calf and bottle goats right now.

It’s $40 a family or $10 a person. Children under 2 are free. Groups are welcome as well, and we do our best to accommodate those with special needs.
