Our farm families are the backbone of Kentucky’s economy and our way of life. They deserve a Senator who knows that, who respects that, and who will fight for them every single day.

This council will help drive the solutions that grow the economic value of agriculture, protect the family farms and succession, and keep Kentucky competitive in a changing economy. I am grateful for their trust and support.

Our farm was recognized today as a Kentucky Raising Hope Farmer of the Year Award winner. This award recognizes farms and farmers who put an emphasis on farm safety. Four generations of the Bivens family have been advocating for Farm Safety. Cyrus, a part of the 4th generation, was able to present his award winning essay today that focused on farm safety.

Yesterday we were honored to be invited to visit LaRue County Head Start to talk with the kids there about transportation. Todd went and represented us well and I think the kids had a great time in the truck. The most precious commodity we all have is our children, and we have to always remember that because after all they are our future!
