Our farm was recognized today as a Kentucky Raising Hope Farmer of the Year Award winner. This award recognizes farms and farmers who put an emphasis on farm safety. Four generations of the Bivens family have been advocating for Farm Safety. Cyrus, a part of the 4th generation, was able to present his award winning essay today that focused on farm safety.

Yesterday we were honored to be invited to visit LaRue County Head Start to talk with the kids there about transportation. Todd went and represented us well and I think the kids had a great time in the truck. The most precious commodity we all have is our children, and we have to always remember that because after all they are our future!

For , as harvest season is upon us I’m looking back 15 years ago. It’s hard to believe how many things have changed. In this picture, you see dad and I, and even though he’s no longer with us, I know we have our very own Angel watching over us as we get ready to embark on yet another successful harvest season. We hope and pray all farmers have a safe and productive .
