The babies are growing so quickly!!!

We are big fans of the Welsummer breed here at the farm. Not only are they beautiful birds, they are also responsible for so many of the speckled eggs that are in our cartons!

These little cuties are having so much fun learning how to use a roosting bar.

Did you know: the rooster on the box of Kellogg’s corn flakes was a Welsummer?

We had the opportunity to take a tour of the growing setup for fellow Hardin County Farmers' Market vendor bluegrass_mushroom today. Specialty crop producers (like us, with our microgreens!) always seem to come up with super clever ways to grow all the things 🍄‍🟫

Also, we would like to comment that after trying blue oyster mushrooms for the first time, we now can understand why a cult was formed 🎶
