We are all set up at the DuQuoin State Fair — and hard at work, as you can see!

We have ELEVEN animals here, and our girls are ready to go! They would be so excited if you stopped by to say hi and see what they’ve been working so hard for.

The Junior Show starts at 9:00 AM tomorrow, and the Open Show starts at 9:00 AM on Sunday.

We are so proud of this group. Overall, this is the best group we have ever had here. Seven of our eight animals competed in a champion round.

This is an accomplishment we could have only dreamed of, and to be here accomplishing it together as a family is our greatest blessing.

We are incredibly grateful for this week, this group of animals, and everyone who has helped us along the way.

The ladies of Lucky-King are ready for the Illinois State Fair!

The Junior Show is tomorrow, followed by the Open Show for our Guernseys and Ayrshires on Thursday. Friday brings the Open Show for our Holsteins, Brown Swiss and Milking Shorthorn.

Juliet, Look At Me, Kapow, Wow, Snickers, Nutty, Perry, and Citrus all made the trip and are ready to get in the ring!

At the Madison County Fair, with more than 180 animals exhibited, 6 of the 7 animals we brought secured 1st place. This included Juliet, Look At Me, Wow, Kapow, Nutty, and Citrus.

There's been a lot to celebrate for the Lueking Dairy Farm family over the past year!

Shana got married in October, and Citrus even made a special appearance! We are so happy for the newlyweds and wish them a lifetime of love and happiness.

Drew graduated from high school and received a full-ride scholarship to our local junior college, where he will be studying Animal Science. We are incredibly proud of him and know his passion for agriculture and animals will take him far.

Doug and Sheila celebrated 30 years of marriage! Their dedication to each other, our family, and this farm has been the foundation of everything we do. We wouldn't be where we are today without their partnership.

Summer show season has officially wrapped up (stay tuned for the highlights!), and it's been rewarding to reflect on all the memories and accomplishments we have shared this year.

Now we're looking ahead to our favorite time of the year—State Fair Month! We have a great string this year and look forward to watching years of hard work pay off. Thank you for being part of the Lueking Dairy Farm family.

Our very own Drew Lueking was crowned Prom King at his high school prom!

Congratulations, Drew! We can think of no one more deserving of this title. Your hard work and passion shine through in everything you do — especially the care you give to our cows.
