Pest damage is easier to handle when you know the signs 🐛 A few things I check first:
🌿 Look under leaves, because eggs and larvae often hide there.
🕳️ Tiny round holes can point to flea beetles, while big chewed patches often mean caterpillars.
🍅 Hornworms can strip tomato plants fast, so I check stems closely.
🥒 If squash wilts even after watering, I always inspect for squash bugs.
💧 Avoid spraying randomly until you know what you’re dealing with.
Catching the problem early usually makes it much easier to fix before the whole plant suffers.

If you’re new to gardening and want a quick payoff, fast-growing vegetables are one of the best ways to build confidence early 🥕
🥬 Crops like radishes, lettuce, arugula, and green onions give you results without a long wait
⏰ Quick harvests make it easier to stay motivated and keep planting
📏 Sow a little every week or two instead of all at once, so everything doesn’t mature at the same time

Spacing is one of those simple things that’s easy to overlook at planting time, but it really affects how well everything grows later on 🌱
📏 I always remind myself that tiny seedlings do not stay tiny for long
🍅 Bigger crops need room for airflow and root growth
🥕 Smaller crops can be planted much closer, especially in raised beds
🌿 Giving plants the right space makes watering and harvesting so much easier
A little extra room now can save a lot of trouble later.
