Meet the homestead’s tiniest resident, Torti! Our very unoriginally named Sulcata tortoise calls the tomato garden bed home, where he’s busy exploring between the plants and soaking up the sunshine. 🍅🌿☀️

Don’t let his small size fool you—Sulcata tortoises can live for over 100 years! There’s a good chance Torti will outlive all of us and still be wandering around the homestead long after we’re gone. 😂🐢

For now, he’s just a little guy living his best garden life. 🪴❤️

Meet April — the sweetest retired resident of Ayers Ridge. 🖤
April came to us from a local petting zoo and has officially traded in her working days for slow mornings, snacks, and lots of love. Though she may be older, she still keeps up with all the farm happenings and gets along with everyone — from the animals to the kids. She’s gentle, patient, and the perfect little reminder that every animal deserves a soft place to land. 🐴✨
