Cold Creek Honey started around 2008 as a family owned and operated business producing 100% raw honey Our honey is 100% raw.

Our farm is located in the heart of North Alabama in a small city called Hokes Bluff; however, we have hives all over North Alabama. There is no additives or processing done. Cold Creek Honey is as close to what you would taste in a wild hive.

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!

Each year we continue to be thankful for every single customer! We love you all and we are so very thankful as we truly have the best ones!

This year we are a little more thankful. As many of you know on Tuesday, November 25th, we had either a small tornado or straight line winds that hit our farm about 6am. It completely destroyed our garage, snapped a tree in half which fell on the power lines and ripped our gutter off of the house. The gutter being ripped off resulted in parts of the wood/siding it was attached to coming off as well and it also snapped the power pole. We immediately lost power and had lines down on our deck. It was a long hard day of working with the power company and insurance company but also just the clean up.

We are so very thankful that all of us are safe and unharmed. We are also so thankful for the folks that showed up to help, offered to help or simply kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We had so many people offering to help we had to turn folks away and that is truly amazing. God has blessed us in so many ways!

We are beyond blessed to be able to call the Hokes Bluff community our home and we absolutely love every single one of our customers both in this community as well as all over the country!

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we will not be at the Boaz Harvest Festival today and Saturday, October 3rd and 4th. We apologize for any issues this has caused as we have a large amount of folks that come see us every year.

However, we will be at Oxfordfest on Saturday, October 4th. We will be in our usual spot at the corner of Choccolocco Street and Mc Cain Street. We will there from 7:30am until 4:00pm. We hope to see everyone there! The weather is going to be perfect!

Again, we sincerely apologize for not being at Boaz Harvest Festival this weekend.

We greatly appreciate all of our amazing customers!

As we have been keep an eye all week on the weather we made the decision to not be at Tannehill Trade Day on Saturday. As of this morning Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park decided to close trade day all together for Saturday. Based on the forecast from James Spann we are now in the High Risk (5 out of 5) Category for severe weather. This is the highest risk on the scale. This is not meant to scare anyone but to make sure you are prepared.

At this time Cold Creek Honey plans to be at Tannehill Trade Day on Sunday. If those plans change we will keep you all updated.

At this time our main priority is preparing for the potential weather heading towards us. We want everyone to also prepare. Everyone please please make sure you have a safe place to go and you have a plan. Be sure everyone in your party knows of that plan and when to put it in place. Now is the time to locate your local storm shelter and know how much time it will take to get there. Prepare a “go kit” that you can just grab and go.

We want everyone to be safe and make it through this weekend. The weather is completely unpredictable and can turn at a moments notice.

We hope to see everyone safe and sound on Sunday!
