Honeyberry Update — Round Two Almost Ready!

Our second round of honeyberries is nearly ripe, and we’re giving them a little extra time to sweeten up.
We’ll be closed until Tuesday to let the berries fully ripen.

📅 Hours for Next Week (6/23–6/27):
• Tuesday 6/23: 8 AM – 12 PM
• Thursday 6/25: 8 AM – 12 PM
• Friday 6/26: 8 AM – 5 PM
• Saturday 6/27: 8 AM – 12 PM

Thank you for your patience as we wait for this next beautiful batch of berries to finish ripening. We can’t wait to see you soon!

**Due to a lack of product, we will not be attending the 6/17 Gilman Farmers Market. Hopefully we will be selling there next week!

We had an incredible turnout of berry pickers last week—thank you to everyone who came out and supported the orchard!
The response was so strong that we’ve picked ourselves a bit thin. We will still be open Monday from 7am-9PM, and there are still plenty of berries to be found if you’re willing to do a little searching.
The good news is that many of our honeyberry plants are now ripening a second flush of fruit, which should be ready in about a week. We expect picking conditions to improve significantly next week as more berries reach peak ripeness.
Also, because of our current lack of product, we will not be attending the 6/16 Stacker City Farmers Market.

We’re proud to share that New Dawn Orchard is now a certified vendor for two great local nutrition programs: the Chippewa County Farm Fresh Program, and the Wisconsin Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP).

We’re approved to accept Chippewa County Farm Fresh Program vouchers, as well as WIC and Senior FMNP checks, for the purchase of our fresh, naturally grown berries and apples — all raised with zero synthetic inputs right here in Holcombe, just in time for Honeyberry season.

Honeyberries are a vibrant sweet‑tart berry with a flavor that blends blueberry, raspberry, and black currant. They’re exceptionally nutrient‑dense—offering five times the antioxidants and vitamin C of blueberries. Their high antioxidant levels come from their naturally high anthocyanin content, a type of polyphenol responsible for their deep blue‑purple color and many of their health benefits.
