First time making homemade butter!
Such an easy process. ❤️💯
1 quart of heavy cream
Salt
First stage- mix until it’s whipped cream
Second stage- keep mixing and it will eventually break down and buttermilk starts to break away from the actual butter.
Third stage- take butter and squeeze it and rinse till it runs clear.
AND VOILA!!! You got butter!!!
Store buttermilk in fridge or freezer to use for recipes. Butter can go in a butter crock (for counter top use) or a home container to refrigerate.
