Our final field update of the season! So how is the picking?? Well, it is pretty good yet! The best Blue Ray are all the way back by the woods and the Blue Crop is the last 10 rows on the right half of the field. Check out some of these Blue Ray photographed today. All day today we will be having field guides taking you to the best picking.

Today is the last day of the season and we close at 8 pm tonight.

Today is our last day of the 2026 season. We still have a lot of U Pick left in the Blue Crop and the Blue Ray. The best picking will be back by the woods for the Blue Ray and in the last 10 rows of the Blue Crop.

We will be doing a lot of machine picking today to get ahead of the rain that is coming next week. Please be mindful of the work going on in the fields! We will have field guides out in the fields today to ensure you have a fun and safe picking experience!

We close up for the season at 8 pm so you still have some time to pick and get those last minute berries in!

Picking Update for August 7, 2026. The best picking is in the Blue Ray back by the woods and the Blue Crop, the last 10 rows. Our last day is going to be this Saturday, August 8! You still have today and tomorrow to get in the last of those berries so don't wait!

We get a lot of questions as to why we are ending the season on August 8 even though there is so much fruit out there yet. The answer is actually really simple - we like to end on a high note.

We only want to offer you the best we can offer and when the quality of the fruit starts to go, then we know it is time to wrap up the season. We do not want to sell you fruit that we think is too soft, juicy, squishy, or basically over ripe. We know a lot of you travel a really long distance just to pick here and so we owe it to you to only offer the best we can.

That is why we end the season when we do - we like to end it when the fruit is still really nice yet and the picking is easy (and fun!) because we value YOU and we only want to offer to you the *berry* best we possibly can.

So, what happens to the rest of the fruit?? Well it is not wasted! Starting next week, we will go through with the machine and clean up the fields.

Picking today. U Pick is Blue Ray and Blue Crop. There is a lot of nice fruit out there yet!
Already Picked - today is the LAST DAY for already picked purchases and once it is all gone, it is gone. We highly recommend calling ahead at (616) 399 6267 and reserving a box for pick up today if you have your heart set on getting some more already picked.

Our last day of the season will be this Saturday August 8. We will close up at 8 pm.

Field Update! If you are wondering how the Blue Crop are looking so close to the end of the season, here is an update for you. We photographed a row beginning to end and we found a lot of fruit is still out there!! The best berries are going to be on the lower half of the bush, but the picking is really nice and there are still some clusters too. Take a look!!

Field Update! We are sure by now you are wondering if it is still worth picking out there since we are getting close to the end of the season. Well, for anyone interested in the Blue Ray, YES!! We took one row and photographed it. The front half is picked clean, nothing there but if you go continue to go towards the woods the back half is LOADED with LOTS of blue fruit and lots of really nice clusters.
When we saw this, we went down additional rows and we found the same thing, the front half of the Blue Ray is picked clean, but the back half has some amazing picking yet. Please just walk in! Take a look for yourself!

So, if you still want some Blue Ray, then you are in luck, there is some beautiful fruit out there yet!! Our last day will be Saturday August 8, and we will be keeping you posted about the picking conditions until then.

Already Picked Update!

Yesterday evening our hand-picking team finished their last field of the season. That means the already picked we have in the store is all we will have for the rest of the season. Once we sell out, we sell out!

When should you buy already picked if you have not already wanted to? TODAY!! Today would be a great day to buy it because we could sell out this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

Picking for today, August 4, 2026. For U Pick the best picking is Blue Ray and Blue Crop. Please walk in and walk around for the best berries and of course, the center of the field is going to be the best.
For Already Picked we have Draper. Our already picked season will be over before the U pick season and at any day now. It all depends on our hand pickers and when they finish the field they are in. We have plenty available today so now would be a great day to stock up on already picked if you have not already done so. When will the last day of already picked berries be? We are not sure, but it is getting super close now.
