When the buckwheat flowers, the field hums. Buckwheat is such an awesome cover crop because it can be terminated so quickly AND it supports so many different types of pollinators when it flowers. We seeded this cover crop following our garlic harvest and it is by far the most lively spot in our field right now.

Today we said goodbye to two phenomenal employees. Mallory & Genevieve have both worked a number of seasons with us and they will be missed dearly. In honor of them spreading their wings, here’s a much delayed photo dump of our 2026 team this year! Gracie visited us on a rainy morning a month ago and captured our silly lil team pretty damn well. We just wrapped up on our 2nd year doing an on-farm meal! This year we chose to have a Farm Dinner & Farm Brunch with This is All Fabulous and they knocked our socks off. Their name speaks magnitudes for the experience, food, and service they provide because it truly was all fabulous! It’s such a privilege to work with such talented people that focus on making fresh ingredients speak for themselves. Thank you so much to This is All Fabulous and Madison, WI Photographer & Social Media Manager for turning our produce into magic! And for the folks that attended this weekend, thank you all! It’s always such an honor to share our space and connect you all to the farm & the farmers growing your food✨

We are so excited to host another opportunity for our community to enjoy meals inspired by our produce and other local products while sharing our farm with you all! Dietary restrictions will be accommodated, the events are family friendly, and we will have great spaces for folks to hang, play & learn at the farm before or after the meals!
