APPLE CRISP CINNAMON ROLLS ARE HERE.

And just like that… fall baking has officially entered the chat. Soft, sourdough cinnamon rolls loaded with all the cozy apple crisp goodness and topped with frosting + that buttery crumble.

These are one of those flavors that only comes around for the season — and I’m making a VERY limited number for tomorrow’s stand restock.

Both, classic and apple crisp will be hitting the stand tomorrow morning at 9AM, but if Apple Crisp is on your list… I would not sleep in.🫣

First come, first served. When they’re gone, they’re gone!

THE HARVEST TABLE IS HERE.

Summer Table had her moment… but I have been READY for this.

This week officially kicks off The Harvest Table at Six Acre, and we’re easing into fall while still giving you everything you need for Labor Day weekend + back to school!

We’ve got buns for the grill, plenty of sourdough, Cookie Dippers for those first-week-of-school lunchboxes, the brand new Breakfast in Bed cookie 👀 and our first fall cinnamon roll of the season…

HELLO, SEPTEMBER.🍎🍂

And just like that… we’re heading into one of my FAVORITE baking seasons. A few important dates to save this month because September is going to look a little different around here!

First up — I will NOT be at Gates Farmers Market this coming weekend! Instead, the stand will be FULLY restocked Saturday, September 5 at 9am with Labor Day weekend + back-to-school in mind.

Then we’re headed to Webster Garlic Fest September 12 + 13! I’m already working on what I want to bring for this one, and if you know Six Acre, you probably know there will be plenty of garlic involved.

You’ll find Six Acre at Zarpentine Farms R & K Saturday, September 19 from 10–4! You guys showed UP last time, so I’m very excited to bring another big spread your way.

Then I’ll be back at Gates Farmers Market Sunday, September 20 from 10–1 for my last market before taking a little break.

And then… Six Acre is CLOSED. Like actually closed.🫣

The last week of September AND the first week of October will be a much-needed reset for me and the bakery. There will be no stand restocks, baking or pickups because I’m taking my son on a cruise for his birthday.

I briefly considered leaving the baking and stand restocking in the hands of my husband and daughters while I’m gone… and then I remembered I actually like you guys.😂

So everybody gets a vacation. LOL. And when I come back?!

FALL AT SIX ACRE IS ON.🍎🎃🍂

I have around 14 fall cookie flavors waiting to rotate through the next few months, plus fall breads, English muffins, bagels, cinnamon rolls and alllllll the seasonal bakes I’ve been waiting very impatiently to make.

September is going to be a good one.

Save this calendar so you know where to find us, and more importantly, when NOT to make the drive to the stand.

I don’t even know where to begin.🥹🤍

When I first had the idea for a Farm Stand Day Hop, the whole point was simple: get people out into our community and through the doors, or up the driveways, of the farmers, bakers, growers and small businesses that make this area so special.

I hoped people would participate. I hoped you’d visit a few stands. I hoped maybe some of you would discover a little roadside stand you had driven past a hundred times and never stopped at before.

You guys did SO much more than that.

You showed up. You filled parking lots and driveways. You bought bread, produce, flowers, eggs, honey, cookies and handmade goods. You met the people behind these businesses. You shared photos. You told your friends where to go next. And from what I’ve heard from the other stands, you made this an incredible day for so many of them, too. 🥹

That might be my favorite part of this entire thing.

Because yes, seeing so many of you make the drive out to Six Acre means more to me than I can put into words. Every person who pulled up to the stand and chose to spend their hard-earned money supporting my little bakery, I will never take that for granted.

But watching that support spread beyond Six Acre?

THAT was the whole point.

This community has shown up for me over and over again, and being able to turn around and create something that helped send that same love toward other local businesses was pretty freaking special. 🤍

To every stand that said yes to my crazy little idea, thank you.

And to every single one of YOU who grabbed a friend, loaded up the kids, made the drive, followed the map, shopped, shared, tagged and cheered these businesses on… Thank you. Truly.

You didn’t just participate in a fun little Sunday drive.

You supported families. You supported dreams. You supported people building something with their own two hands right here in our community.

And judging by how this first one went…

I think it’s safe to say Farm Stand Day Hop will be back.

There really is room at the table for all of us.🩵

TODAY IS THE DAY

It’s and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than spending the day supporting the people growing, baking, making and creating right here in our own community.

A few weeks ago, I had this little idea…

What if we got a bunch of our local farm stands together and gave you guys an excuse to load up the car, grab a friend and spend the day hopping from stand to stand?

And somehow that little idea turned into our 1st Annual Farm Stand Day Hop.🥹

Today, 11+ local stops are waiting for you with sourdough, baked goods, fresh produce, flowers, eggs, honey, jams, farm goods and so much more.

There’s no starting point. No required route. No need to visit them all. Visit one. Visit five. Make a whole day out of it.

Take pictures along the way and post them in our Facebook event for the photo challenge, every stop you share earns another entry into our HUGE community giveaway!

But more than anything, today is about showing up.

Every purchase you make today supports a real person. A family. A farmer. A baker. A grower. A small business owner who took a chance on putting something they made out into the world. And THAT is what I wanted this day to be about.🤍

So grab your coffee, bring your reusable bags, load up the kids or call your best friend and GO HOP!
