Hello and welcome to the Beaver Brook Homestead! My name is Ali and I am creating this page as a way for local folks to engage with our animals, farm products, and philosophy. While this educational homestead is a part of the Beaver Brook Association's excellent educational programming, it is also my home. This page is not a way to sign up for programs: please refer to beaverbrook.org for that. Instead it is meant as a way to connect you with our farm fresh eggs, day old chicks, wool and hand forged iron products, and fresh garden produce. While we don't always have everything all at once, there is frequently a surplus!

My husband Tor and I raise animals in small groups, practice rotational grazing, and integrate our livestock, crafts, and gardens to best reflect regenerative practice. Sheep eat the weeds, chickens eat the ticks and other pests, and manure goes on the garden. Low input, low stocking density, low impact to the diversity of wildlife we share our home with; that's the Beaver Brook way!
