Hi all!👋👋👋
With the amount of new followers and customers over the last year, I figured it was time to do another quick intro into me and what I’m all about.
Many of you have asked a lot of the same questions and intrigue into my little business and I thought..well..let me take a few minutes to introduce myself again to you all.
So here it goes:
My name is Christy ( gotta start with THE most obvious fact 🤣). Ive been baking for most of my life and about 6 years ago, December 22, 2020 to be exact, I started offering my baked goods to the community. Many of you have been with me from the start..you know who are are..my OG crew❤️. At first, it was just a “ let’s just see if people are interested”..it was 2020 when things were still really hard to obtain and grocery store shelves were EMPTY. I started off small with just offering my signature jam filled thumbprints..it was really the only ingredients that I could get my hands on at that time to create something simple, but delicious.
At first, I really didn’t know how long I’d be doing this for… it was really a test trial and “ let’s see where it goes and how it goes” mentality. Little did I know that come 6 years later, I’d be doing this full time! ❤️❤️
In those 6 years, I have built relationships with the local farms in the area. This is a true Farm To Table business. All of the fruit that I use in my baking is hand picked from local farms. All of my jams that I use in my thumbprint cookies are canned in the summertime, when the fruit is sweet and ripe for the pickin’. Lots of canning and lots of jams..These jams I use all year long! I do my very best to bake with the VERY BEST of ingredients…and my monthly menus reflect the seasonal produce available. It is a true fact that small business need each other to stay alive. I WHOLLY support the farms in the area..I support them..and they in turn support me to bring you all the very best in my baking. Small businesses NEED EACH OTHER. PERIOD.
Some of you know that I’m also a mom and wife. I have 3 kiddos..my youngest being 8. My husband is my biggest cheerleader and his encouragement and support are the reasons I’ve been able to pursue my passion of baking. Honestly, without him..I would have never even started this gig. ❤️
Many of you have asked about my pricing. I run my business with honesty and integrity. I do not believe in price gouging. I work pretty closely with vendors, both locally and online, to buy ingredients, and whatever bulk discount they give me, it goes to you. I believe in providing a great product with fair pricing. I will never charge you more…just because I can..I’ll leave that to the corporations 🙄.
Many of you have asked about my menus and delivery. I’m not a huge fan of AI…all of my menus I create on my own and will continue to. And delivery..yes it’s complimentary..and yes I enjoy it..because i get to connect with all of you. Honestly, delivery is my favorite part of the process..I love the connection it brings. I’m not that old, but I am old fashioned at heart. I love establishing relationships with customers, just like they did back in the day. ❤️
I believe in working hard and not taking shortcuts. Baking truly is a LABOR OF LOVE…especially if done right. From purchasing ingredients, baking, marketing, packaging, and delivering….it is all a labor of love. And for those of you who don’t know..it’s just me doing it all. I don’t have staff or a baking partner,....just me👋👋👋.

While there are MANY incredible bakers in the area, I cannot thankyou enough for being here. And my family thanks you too. All of your likes, shares, comments, reviews, and purchases have helped me grow my little business into what it is today..and for that, I think you are all INCREDIBLE.
