We would love to thank the Hollister fire department, ,the San Juan fire department, and Cal Fire. My neighbor called me and asked me if we had a control burn at our place and I said no I went outside and heard crackling soft flames in the creek bed coming from our neighbors who have high brush that they do not tend to. We fortunately are constantly mowing and taking care of our land and how important that is to do. This fire could have been disastrous. Make sure that you tend to your land and have lots of fire brakes. David immediately got on the tractor and was over there before the fire trucks got here and using the flail mower. Fire is always on our mind and we are always around to make sure we are safe. We all need to be aware and thank God I have wonderful neighbors who we all look out for each other. The fire department is shortstaffed and incredibly underfunded. We were just fortunate that there was no other calls at the time. God bless our firemen. .

Thanks Damian for the great video! I never get out of the kitchen until later in the afternoon. We were hustling as fast as we can and we sure appreciate your patience.
