Little Beehive Farm

Little Beehive Farm Om Sweet Om Bee Products: honey, candles, lip balms, hand creams, lotions, handmade soaps, mustard, We sell fresh eggs when we have them.

When I started beekeeping in 2004, I decided to call my home Little Beehive Farm. I own just under an acre of land in a suburban community west of Boston. I manage to pack a lot in this little farm, with a huge vegetable garden, a large array of beautiful woody shrubs, trees, and perennials, an every changing number of chickens, and the number of hives can vary from year to year. We make and sell

many products: Honey, Handmade Soaps, Hand Creams, Body Lotion, Honey Candy, Candles, Honey Mustard and Lip Balms.

Dear Friends & Family, it is with great sadness that I let you all know, that after 20 years of keeping bees and running Little Beehive Farm, I have decided to stop keeping bees and doing farmers markets. I lost my bees last fall and after all that happened last year, I have decided to take a break. I want to thank all my family for their support over the past 20 years. I want to deeply thank all my friends/customers who have supported me with their friendships and their loyalty to me and Little Beehive Farm. I will continue to make some of my products but for the most part, I will stop keeping bees. I am very sad about it but it is the right decision at the right time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Here is a link to my father's obituary. We are planning a memorial service on October 19th, in Suffield, CT.

And thank you to everyone that has reached out by Facebook, phone, email (mail too), or in person with your kind words during this difficult time.

This isn’t about bees or honey or gardening or food. This is about how I feel on this Sunday morning after the terrible new on Friday.

Finally after many years of waiting, here it is: My Queen Cage Installer. Invented in 2014, I was finally able to bring this to market. This a great help when installing a new package or re-queening during the season. Plus it will last for years. It takes all the worry and fuss when installing a new queen. Just hang between two frames, candy side up, and you are good to go.

You'll never struggle again with installing a queen cage in your hives. Whether it is in the spring with a new package or you are re-queening during the season. This will take all the worry and fumbling that comes with other methods. Fits standard woodend queen cages and will last for years. Come wi...
