First Junior Nationals is in the books! We were able to enjoy some good Hereford company in Madison, Wisconsin. Jaelyn took part in the steer show, showmanship, and fitting contest, and the big kids did livestock judging. Emmy was elated to be Princess of the Day and helped the state Queens during the shows.

Hats off to the MN juniors and youth advisors for organizing and making the week fun, and the AHA for putting on an outstanding event!

We snuck off the farm for a few hours today to celebrate Jared's birthday - took him to the WWII museum so he could indulge in his love for history! He's already planning another trip back, there's too much to see the first time...

The day also doubled as a history field trip for the kids. Very fitting coming after Memorial Day weekend. 'Thank you' isn't near enough for those that fought for us! 🇺🇸
