🎉Celebrate with our family! 👋🏼 Hey, this is Rachael, the owner and creator of Waves. Today is the 6th anniversary of our grand opening! We opened July 10, 2021. My five children and I didn’t know what we were doing, but we had an idea and were determined to make it happen!
Looking back on these photos from our first day we opened make me so happy. At the time, my 11 year old was taking orders, my 8 year old was handing them out the window, and my 17, 15, and 14 year olds were making the shave ice.
What you don’t see is all of the behind the scene dinner conversations about the logo design, the recipe creations, the wrap on the food truck, our marketing strategy, and many, MANY late nights! It was truly a family affair!
