Our girls spending the afternoon in the new pasture. There’s a lots of grass and shade for them. The intention of this pasture will be where we host our yoga classes. It’s honestly one of the serene pastures. We have a few more ideas for this peaceful area.

Shearing day! The alpacas have fresh new haircuts. Pics will be posted soon.

🦙 Alpaca’s produce 5-10 lbs of fiber a year. I took a quick pic of some of the fiber we collected today.

🧶 🧦 Some will be sent to a mill to be spun into yarn, some will go to a coop for products and some will even be tossed. (We’ve got some older girls that don’t produce the best.) This is some of the most sustainable fiber. It’s hypoallergenic and some of the softest, warmest fiber on this planet.

Shearing day!!!!!!! Finally!! Which means for now cows are locked out of the two barns that have fresh water. We are filling up a water tub for the girls. They’re like old school 80’s kids and truly enjoy drinking from the hose. 😆
