Starting at the end of this week, you’ll be able to find Bup’s chicken at Colony Market in Grand Blanc!

We’re incredibly excited for the opportunity to serve our community and make our pasture-raised chicken available at a local store we love.

Colony Market will be carrying a variety of cuts, giving you another convenient way to enjoy chicken raised outdoors on fresh pasture and moved daily.

Have you ever blindly trusted labels like “natural,” “farm fresh,” “cage free,” “free range,” or “humanely raised”? We definitely have.

But the more we started paying attention to the buzzwords, the more we began asking ourselves… is this marketing, or is this real?

The truth is, many of these terms have very loose definitions and minimal requirements behind them. Some simply mean chickens had “access” to the outdoors… not that they actually lived outside on pasture. Did they ever leave their factory floor, see sunlight, or eat fresh grass? Eh… probably not. 😬

That’s why we believe transparency matters more than trendy labels.

To us, pasture-raised means our chickens LIVE outdoors on fresh pasture 24/7 and are moved to fresh grass every single day. No shortcuts. No marketing gimmicks. Just raising food the way we believe it should be raised.

We have exciting news! Our pasture-raised whole chickens are finally back in stock. And did you hear? We can now ship across state lines!

Right now, whole chickens are the only product available for immediate shipping and local pickup - meaning if you order today, you can pick them up as early as today.

For those local to us, pickup is currently available in Fenton, Michigan. But we are VERY excited to share that our barn is officially under construction, which means on-farm pickup at Bup’s Family Farm In Holly, Michigan will be coming soon once we get freezers and storage fully set up on-site.

Watching our family farm continue to grow has been incredibly special for our family, and we are so grateful you all are part of it.
