Get Well Ginny Event 💜

September 12th 4:00-6:00
Donation only

We will have a heart and cow craft for the kids to either take home or decorate Ginny's stall with. We will also have special edition 3D printed Ginny cows 💜. Come out and have some fun, enjoy the animals and show Ginny how much we love her 💝

Ginny's 24 hour wait period is over and I was able to let her out this evening 💜 she's walking 💜 she hasn't taken this many steps since Tuesday. 😭 You can't tell me cows don't love each other 🥹 they were all so happy to great her

Ginny update 💜 she is not doing the best and is now confined to a stall due to not being unable to take more than a few steps. She was trying to eat her bandage off today so I added more duck tape to keep it intact. On a good note I drove to New Jersey today and bought a turn table chute from Back 40 farm. What wonderful people to meet!! Now we can put a block on her foot and give her the proper care while keeping her and everyone safe. This is going to be a long road to full recovery for her. I'm going to have to do an event to help recover financially from this horrible accident. I can play the In the arms of the angle song in her stall 🤣😅

⚠️ ⚠️ Warning, graphic video!! Not for kids!

Ginny cut a part of her hoof off last night 😩 I went out to feed and saw blood everywhere! I tracked it all the way to the big field. Poor girl was in rough shape laying down. She wouldn't let us wrap it because of how painful it was so I had to call the vet out. Huge thank you to Wendy for helping me! I'm so thankful Dr. Reppening was on call. Healing prayers for Ginny! I haven't had an emergency vet visit since our horse Dylan passed away 5 years ago and it is not a good feeling. These animals are my babies

So we decided to use all the leftover pieces of wood to redo the horse! If you've been here in the past couple of years, we used to have a draft size cornstalk horse that all the kids loved. A couple winters ago the cows decided to eat most of the cornstalk off of it 😑 So it's been sitting in the shed looking like a stick figure. It looks like a transformer horse now 🤣🤣 What color should I paint it? I also need to add a mane. Hopefully everyone will like it just as much

This sweet girl is looking for a forever home. Athena is a 2 y/o pittie mix. She is friendly to other dogs and people/ kids. This is not because she did anything wrong, her owner went off to college and his mom is a full time nurse. Anyone who knows a nurse knows that schedule is tough with a dog. Please reach out if you're interested in meeting her 💜
