Appleshed Equestrian Center is a horse training facility in Holt, MO that began operation in April of 2008. It is being developed by Scot Fernandez, to support the training needs of his students and horses. The facility features a four stall barn, and three large pastures with two dry lots each having a 24'x16' run shed. Arena: There is a large (60 m x 40 m) outdoor arena with lighting. Arena foo
ting and base was renovated in October of 2016. Stadium Jumping: We currently have enough equipment to produce a 12 jump course that includes three oxers and a corner question. In 2012 we began investing in a course from Jumps4Joy and currently have enough to build three fences that meet FEI standards with break away cups. Our goal is to add 1-2 new Jump4Joy fences each year until we have enough for a full course. Their is a small (but growing) XC park being built adjacent to the arena. The park currently features 25 portable jumps that range in heights from starter to Prelim. They are frequently re-arranged to meet schooling needs.
