08/30/2026

❤️ I've gone back and forth about posting this because I genuinely don't want Tiny Hiney Farm to become a page filled with rescue drama. That's not why we're here.
There's way too much hate in this world and we are not ones to be a part of any of it. We love. We care. We take every challenge and turn it into an opportunity to grow and better ourselves, without putting others down or making accusations.

There's also a point where staying quiet can begin to feel like allowing other people to tell our story for us.

Over the last several months, our organization, our decisions and even the people helping us have been questioned and criticized by a few people who have never sat down with us and asked us why we do what we do. Never have even met us in person. Has never asked us questions. Just quick to spout assumptions and try to intimidate others with what they THINK.

We've had these same people attend our events and interrogate our volunteers and our own CHILDREN; spoken to about matters involving the rescue. Again, without the slightest intent to come to us first. We've watched assumptions be made publicly and it's not right. We are open books.

Nobody ever had to guess. They could have asked us. Instead of moving in on our KIDS, our Volunteers, our FAMILY members. It's disgusting to see this type of behavior.
Grown adults feeling like they need to question others without coming straight to the source. Having adult conversation, respectful conversation, is easy. It doesn't have to resort to anything other than communication and explanations.

Our phone works. Our Messenger works. Our barn isn't hiding.

We are two people trying our very best to do the right thing by these equines. We have nothing to hide and we sure as hell don't ever want concerns to go unanswered, if there is one. We are respectable people. We live a quiet life out here on the farm. We have BIG hearts and learn new things daily.
We don't have big companies backing us, we don't have funds helping us. We do this out of our own time and pockets. Why? Because we care...a lot!

If another rescue, supporter, donor or member of this community has a legitimate concern about Tiny Hiney Farm, Inc., come talk to **Tiny Hiney Farm**.

Ask us why an animal is here.

Ask us where donations go.

Ask us why a veterinarian recommended one course of treatment instead of another.

Ask us what we're doing with an animal before placement.

Ask us to explain something you don't understand.

We may not always agree. That's okay. Different rescues can have different philosophies and still care deeply about animals and still do right by them.

Please don't decide what the answer is first and then build a story around it. We're all adults and bullying children and other people is just not tolerated here.

Tiny Hiney Farm, Inc. is still a young organization. We're learning. We're growing. We ask questions. We use veterinarians, farriers, trainers and other knowledgeable professionals. Sometimes we'll change the way we do something because we've learned a better way. **We will never be ashamed of that.**

What we will not accept is the idea that being new means we're fair game for speculation, insinuations or public judgment without ever being given an opportunity to provide the facts.

And I need to make one boundary especially clear:

**Our children and volunteers are not responsible for defending this organization! Ever.**

If you have a concern with something I have done or a decision Tiny Hiney Farm has made, bring it to me. Please don't confront a CHILD or a volunteer at an event. Don't question MY CHILDREN about adult organizational matters. They are there to help animals and enjoy being part of something good.
Grown adults bullying minors is where I draw the line. It's never okay. It's never warranted. It's never something that should even cross a mind.

Tiny Hiney Farm isn't perfect. I'm not perfect.
But imperfect and dishonest are two very different things.

Our records are kept. Our animals receive care. Our decisions have reasons behind them. Donations to our rescue are used to further our rescue mission. Decisions involving an animal's health are made based on that individual animal and professional guidance—not Facebook pressure.

If you have heard something about us that concerns you, **please ask us.**

You don't have to take somebody else's word for who we are.
Come meet us.
Come see the animals.
Ask the uncomfortable questions.

We're not afraid of them.

What I won't do anymore is continually defend Tiny Hiney Farm, Inc. against assumptions made by people who never gave us the courtesy of asking the question first.

We have animals to care for, programs to build, kids to inspire and a rescue we're incredibly proud to continue growing.

That's where our energy belongs. ❤️

🐴 **A Little About How We Do Things at Tiny Hiney Farm** 🫏

With so many new faces following our little farm lately, we thought it might be a good time to share a little more about how we operate behind the scenes. No nonsense, no sugar coating, just simply laid out of who we are, what we do, and how we do it. ❤️

Tiny Hiney Farm, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit equine rescue, and while you see plenty of the fun, silly and heartwarming moments here, there's a whole lot that happens behind the Facebook posts.

👉We do not train for others.
👉We do not having a riding program.
👉 We do not board.
👉We do not claim to know every little thing. Even the most experienced still learn.

Every animal that comes into our care is treated as an **individual**.
There is no one-size-fits-all timeline. Some need medical care. Some need groceries. Some need training and handling. Some simply need time to decompress and learn that they're safe. We meet them where they are and make decisions based on what THAT animal needs.

🐴 **Not every animal who comes here will stay forever.**
Part of rescue is sometimes helping an animal become healthy, safe and prepared enough to move into a wonderful permanent home. When we believe an animal may eventually be a good adoption candidate, we begin considering that future — but there is never a deadline to get them out the door.
Some cases we take on as sanctuary cases, where they will live their lives out here at Tiny Hiney Farm, Inc.

🫏 **Adoption is a process, not a transaction.**
Our goal isn't simply finding *a* home. It's finding the **right home**. Potential adopters are evaluated based on the individual animal's needs, and an animal stays right here until we're comfortable with the placement.

🩺 **Health and welfare decisions are made individually.**
We work with our veterinary and equine professionals when making decisions regarding medical care, farrier needs, nutrition, training and overall welfare. What is appropriate for one animal isn't necessarily appropriate for another.

❤️ **Our responsibility doesn't begin or end with how an animal arrived here.**
Animals can come into rescue through many different circumstances. Once they're part of our program, our responsibility is to provide appropriate care and determine the best future for that individual animal.

💰 **Donations support the mission.**
When we fundraise for hay, feed, veterinary care, farrier care and the everyday expenses of running the rescue, those funds support our rescue program and the animals in our care unless we specifically designate otherwise. Every bag of feed, bale of hay, hoof trim and veterinary visit adds up — and we're incredibly grateful for the people who help us keep doing it. We do not currently get grants, everything comes out of our own pockets and from supporters like you.

📚 **We're always learning.**
We don't pretend to know everything. Good rescue means continuing to learn, asking professionals for guidance, adjusting when something isn't working and doing better as we know better. We are always ready and willing.

Most importantly...

**Questions are welcome here.**

We're happy to talk about what we do, why we do it and what goes into caring for our herd. Transparency matters to us, and so does respectful conversation. If you ever have a question or even want to make an appt to come out and talk with us about the rescue/herd, we'd love to have the opportunity to answer any questions you have.

We're a small rescue with a big herd, a lot of manure, probably too many feed buckets, and one very simple goal:

❤️ Doing right by the animal in front of us.

That's Tiny Hiney Farm, Inc.

Wow! We are so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you! Without our followers and supporters, we couldn't do what we set our hearts out to do! We truly cannot thank you enough! Every follow, every share, every supporting act- we're beyond words right now. 🩵

We had a dream, we worked hard to make that dream reality, and we put faith into each step we took. It hasn't been easy and it definitely hasn't been pretty. We've had a lot of challenges along the way, many roadblocks and we've come across people who tried to tear us down. We've fallen more times than we'd like to admit, BUT we keep going and we keep believing.
Having people like you, that believe in our mission, is what keeps us going strong!

🎯 YOU are what drives us. 🎯 YOU are what keeps Tiny Hiney Farm, Inc. going. 🎯 YOU are what helps us grow!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
