We bring our passion for Craft Smoked BBQ to you! Smoke & Wheels Craft BBQ came from a place of passion and creativity.

Will started this "hobby" when Covid hit as a way to relax and unwind. Little did we know that this would become a thing of passion for both of us. We have combined experience of 40+ years in Food & Beverage and Hospitality and look forward to meeting new friends, creating and being part of memorable moments, and sharing our smoked goodness with you all. Our motto is: "Food brings people together on many different levels. It's nourishment of the soul and body; it's truly love".

❤️ **A Little Smoke & Wheel Update** ❤️

After a lot of thought, we’ve decided it’s time to officially close the chapter on Smoke & Wheel Craft BBQ.

What a run it has been! 🔥🍖 We are incredibly grateful for every person who trusted us to be part of your parties, weddings, celebrations, family gatherings, and everything in between. What started as something we loved doing turned into a successful little business that allowed us to meet some pretty amazing people and be part of a lot of special moments.

But over the last two months, we’ve also realized how much we’ve loved having our time back with the pause we’ve taken. Time with our family. Time at home. Weekends that aren’t spent prepping, smoking, packing, hauling and cleaning up. 😂 And, believe it or not, we both have full-time jobs too!

Life changes, priorities shift, and right now we’re really enjoying slowing things down a little and focusing on our family. We also have some new endeavors we’d like to pursue that are very near and dear to our hearts, and we’re excited to see where those take us.

We are walking away from Smoke & Wheel feeling nothing but proud and thankful. It was successful. It was fun. It was ours. And it served its season well.

And don't worry — West Michigan definitely isn't going hungry! There are some AMAZING local BBQ and smoked meat businesses out there! Please check them out, support them, and give them your business!

Thank you to everyone who ordered from us, recommended us, shared our posts, invited us into your celebrations, or simply cheered us on along the way. We appreciate you more than you know.

Who's slinging pork at 3 AM? 🙋‍♀️🔥

Us!

Because you've got to take care of your 3rd shifters, too. While most people are sleeping, we're busy making sure a local manufacturing company can show their employees some appreciation with a delicious meal with some smoked meats.

We love partnering with companies that take care of their people, and we're honored to be a small part of that.

It's going to be a busy 24 hours around here, but we wouldn't have it any other way! 1st and 2nd shifts coming up!

Today was a special one for us. ❤️

We had the privilege of serving lunch for Fresh Coast Alliance during their Reentry Simulation event, and it meant more to us than words can fully explain.

This mission is deeply personal to our family and rooted in the legacy of a man who inspired us to do what we are doing today. To be able to give back in a space focused on support, second chances, and community was truly an honor.

Having people around you during the hardest seasons of life can change everything. Community matters. Compassion matters. Being seen and supported matters.

Thank you to everyone involved for allowing us to be a small part of something so meaningful. We are grateful for the opportunity and proud to support the work being done to help others rebuild, reconnect, and move forward. ❤️

So what’s so “craft” about Smoke & Wheels Craft BBQ? 🤔🔥

It’s a fair question… and it’s not just a word we threw in the name.

For us, “craft” means experience, intention, and choice. We’ve spent the last 6 years learning, testing, adjusting, and getting better every time we fire up the smoker.

Want proof of all that learning, testing, and adjusting? Come check out our “collection” of smokers… seriously 😄

We don’t just throw meat on a grill and hope for the best. There’s an artistry to it. Timing, temperature, seasoning, smoke… it all matters.

It also means we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all or mass production. We choose what works best for our style and for your event. Every order gets the attention it deserves.

And when we can, we do it from scratch. Because it tastes better. Simple as that.

That’s what “craft” means to us. 🔥
