It's all about the food! For those of you that know me, you know that I love to entertain! I love all of the aspects of planning an event to bring people together. I look forward to the decorating, the shopping, and the menu. It all starts with an occasion, typically a birthday or special event for my family or friends. The excitement builds as the details of the day start to play out in my mind a
s I envision how I foresee it all unfold. The main focus is ALWAYS the food! What am I going to serve? Is there a theme? What types of flavors do I want to intermingle across your plate? The menu planning, is by far, the most fun and important for me. It is my way of showing gratitude and thanking people for taking time out of their busy schedules to share it with us. The courses are just as important to me as well. It always begins with the appetizers (which I believe are my favorite) then continues on with a soup or salad. The entrée should leave nothing to be desired and is always the most thought out. The grand finale, if you allow yourself the luxury, is the dessert. I spend a lot of time searching for new and exciting recipes that I can bring to the table. My cookbook cabinet is overflowing, which could use a little organizing, now that I think about it. ;) My point is, that whether I am planning a party, or simply making my family dinner, I am always putting my heart into sharing my love of cooking. It is important to me, as it is to so many, to make sure that as mom or a host, that I can share my LOVE of food. I am excited about my venture with Wildtree.
