Mikes grandfather always said, if he had a farm he wanted to name it, Royal Farm.

It’s been awhile since we have posted. Busy spring/summer here. We currently have 3 boys and 2 girls that will be 8wks on the 24th looking for homes. All piglets are unregistered. Send a message if you are interested.
EDIT: actually only have 3 castrated 8wk boys, 2 girls (8wks). Do have 2 boars who are older from her last batch she had.

Six 10 week oldlooking for new homes, boys will be castrated this week. Parents are registered Kunekune however babies will not be registered.
Kunekune pigs are a heritage breed of pigs that produce great lard and marbled meat. Goal is to raise them longer than other types of pigs to get the marbled meat. You can raise them quicker but they will then produce a lot of lard and small meat. Most don’t feed your typical hog grower feed. We feed ours ground barley, swine feed, fruit/veggie scraps, and a handful of beet pulp all soaked twice a day. Of course they love foraging as well and sometimes add alfalfa pellets or give them a little hay. Nice friendly pigs that are easy keepers.

“So yummy, so yummy” this one is so stinkin cute stomping as it eats. All have nursed within half hour of being born.

The barley fodder is really starting to grow in thick! Hoping to supplement some feed with it for the pigs and chickens. Kunekune pigs are naturally a grazing pig. Since we don’t have fields of pasture, this is another option.
