Kachemak Shellfish Growers Co-op Alaskan Oysters! http://alaskaoyster.com Our oysters are grown in the Kachemak Bay Critical Habitat area. Surrounded by the Kachemak Bay Alaska State park.

The bay is feed by lots of fresh water including seven glaciers. Tides fluctuate twice a day some times as much as 30 feet! Oyster farming is one of the greenest, environmentally sound industries that exists.

Finally, the spit is waking up.....we're open monday-saturday 9-430 with fresh oysters, mussels, clams, scallops and a selection of fin fish. Come see us!

Despite the weather we're still here! We have fresh oysters and steamer clams every day. Additionally, we are carrying Kodiak Scallops, Prince William sound Spot Shrimp and Side stripes, Black Cod, Ling Cod and Rock Fish fillets. For the holidays we have Dungeness crab sections fresh off the boat from Kodiak!
