Maze x Lance babies incoming! I’m VERY excited for this pairing. So far I’m thinking twins but there is a possibility for triplets in this ultrasound. Hopefully in the next few weeks I will be able to confirm a number once they are further along! Maze has been nothing but an amazing doe for me. She pulls her weight and some in the milk parlor and overall is a sweet girl. Her previous kids have all been everything and more I’ve hoped for. I have retained both her 2024 buck and doe and they have exceeded my expectations! It will be so nice to see what kind of udder she helps put on her doe Athena and what her son Atlas will give us in 2027! Maze is a lifer here and she’s definitely the herd matriarch. We’ve definitely taken the herd in a great direction for over all breed character and conformation. All reservations are closed for this pairing at this time. Praying for healthy babies and Maze during delivery! Maze is due 2/3/27

And just like that Maple decided she was going to stop stressing me out! Hopefully I find babies on the ultrasound in 26 days! Everyone is hopefully bred for 2027 deliveries! I will post as soon as I confirm pregnancies. Maze is 27 days post breeding with no sign of coming back in heat. Fingers crossed🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Lance is such a sweet boy he is turning out very nicely. He’s long and has a very nice top line. His width is still coming in but I am very pleased with what I’m seeing so far on him. He’s got a lot of growing to do still but he’s going to be a big boy. His grandsire is a buck I’ve envied and always wanted a relative of. I think he will do great things for us!

Breeding season is in full swing! Some awesome kids are hopefully in the making! 4/5 of the does have been covered by the bucks. I will start ultrasounding in the next week or two to confirm pregnancies! Maple has been having silent heats so she may not end up getting bred this year but I will continue to keep an eye on her and hopefully be able to get her to freshen. Atlas, Riff, and Lance will all have kids on the ground this coming year and I am so excited to see what they can do on improving the Nubian breed and the herd. Planned breedings are as follows:
Maze x Lance-due 2/3/27
Dolly x Atlas- due 2/15/27
Athena x R***e- due 2/19/27
Ember x Atlas- due 2/23/27
February is going to be a busy month! Hopefully filled with lots of happy healthy babies and mommas. And a very tired mother, aka me HA! Reservations are open for Athena and Dolly. Maze has a buckling open and so does Ember. If anyone is interested in being added to a list to contact when kids are born for a specific breeding let me know!

With some thought and consideration R***e will be available for sale after he is confirmed bred to our yearling doe Athena. We don’t really need 3 bucks on the farm right now and he is related to a few of my does so he only has 1 doe to breed this fall. He is AMERICAN Nubian. He knows his job and does it really well. His kids this past year I have been nothing but proud and happy with them. He gave us 9 lovely kids out of 4 does. He is tested negative for CAE/CL/JOHNES. I have paper work proof and it’s pinned on the farm page. If you are interested in him let me know and I will send more information and pics of pedigree and price. He will most likely be available by November/December so still perfect time to be used for breeding season!

Looks like babies will be arriving February 2027! Maze and Lance were put together a handful of times yesterday and today. Am I crazy for starting early yes! But am I very excited YES! I decided to change up mazes pairing to my younger buck Lance as I really want to see what he can do. I’m very anxious and excited!

We have a little change to our breeding for Maze this year! Maze will be bred to SPK-EZ FARM SIR LANCELOT! I’ll do a little post of just him shortly. He’s got amazing genetics behind him and he’s a big boy already. Next years kids will be very exciting!

Two of our herdsires out and about the other day to stretch their legs.
