Today's episode, the Mako Trailer Overhaul begins. Nothing worse then coming back from a fishing trip and hearing this on the way home!





We will be doing a full set of axles to update the the old leafs to torrsions and checking into some brakes!

Who else hates removing the cable steering out of boats! This is one of the non negotiable upgrades for a boat in the saltwater. Hydraulic steering has so many benefits over a big steel cable

Get everything wired up, new acrylic dash panels, brand new mfds and full Rewire of the dash. Pull it out wash it and that brand new set of trim tabs you installed doesn't work. We couldn't believe it here at Hart Outfitters either! So much for trying lectrotab here! We will try and stay with LENCO-MARINE until this is fixed

What's the cause and what's the solution 🤔
Poor maintenance from the last shop, can't believe these units are still functional. Both driveshafts housing corroded and blew the seals due to not being flushed properly!

This Classic Mako, completely redone, in for 100hr and some lower unit work. Blew the driveshaft seals and previous mechanic didn't pay any attention, hopefully we saved them!
