We are looking for animal farms that can receive large volumes of food scraps to feed animals. This is unpacked produce, meat and / or dairy collected in dump trucks and dropped on the ground. 

It’s hard to say the exact volumes. Some days we collect 2000 lbs and others up to 11000 lbs. The whole load will be delivered to one location so you must be able to take thousands of pounds in a single delivery.

Delivery in Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach counties for a nominal fee.

We are looking for a CDL (class A or B) driver who is passionate about the environment and doesn’t mind getting dirty picking up food scraps using our customized dump trucks, pressure cleaning the organics recycling carts, hauling equipment between our sites and the like.

This is a per diem position with possibility of turning into part-time and eventually full-time on a steady basis as the company grows.

Something super cool happened last Saturday at the Zero Waste Miami event. Fertile Earth was honored with the Zero Waste Miami Business Award for our sustainability efforts.
When we started down this path, our goal was simple: Keep food out of landfills, and instead feed people, animals, and the soil for our local community.
Being in a room filled with so many people pushing for a greener Florida and a greener Miami especially was incredible. Thank you to everyone who trusts us to send food to its highest and best use. This award belongs to all of us!
