ONE POUND…ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES

Ever wonder what 85/15 or 90/10 on the package actually means?

It’s simply the ratio of lean beef to fat — and that little difference can change the flavor, juiciness and how it cooks.

85/15 — The sweet spot. Enough fat for great flavor and a juicy burger, without leaving a pan full of grease. Perfect for burgers, tacos and everyday meals.

90/10 — A leaner option with less fat left in the pan. Great for casseroles, pasta sauces and recipes that already have plenty of moisture and flavor.

💪 And don’t forget the protein. Beef delivers 23g protein per 3 oz cooked serving and all 9 essential amino acids your body needs to build and maintain muscle.

Fat brings the flavor. Protein brings the fuel. BEEF BRINGS BOTH whether it’s a steak on Saturday night or tacos on Tuesday. One pound…endless possibilities.

Know your beef. Know your rancher.

From our pasture to your patty—thank you for supporting local beef producers.

•We are sure proud of this lady!!!

There’s something special about being a woman in agriculture…

If we haven’t met, I’m Kelly Crain.

I wear many hats—ranchwife, mother of two, business owner, and the person behind many of the day-to-day decisions at Hondo Creek Land & Cattle.

You can bet I’m proud of building this business, raising a family, making decisions, taking risks, and proving there’s more than one way to look like a rancher.

I love sharing our story and making sure high-quality, locally raised beef has a place at your family table.

Hondo Creek Land & Cattle is proudly woman-owned & family operated, but more importantly, it’s built on hard work and a genuine love for this industry.

Here’s to the women who aren’t afraid to pull up a chair at the table—or saddle up and build their own.

From our family to yours, THANK YOU for supporting local ranchers and helping us preserve this way of life.

We’d like to recognize Dale Sandlin, Executive Director of ALMDA & LMAT who recently testified before the Texas House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock.

Dale Sandlin and LMAT have been critical advocates on our behalf as Union Commission Company holds the dubious distinction of being the ONLY livestock market in Texas currently placed within the infested zone.

Navigating the challenges and consequences of that designation has not been easy. Having strong representation for our market, our customers, and the producers we serve has been invaluable.

Dale and LMAT — THANK YOU for standing beside us, asking the important questions, and making sure our voice is heard in Austin.

ALMDA & LMAT Executive Director Dale Sandlin testified before the Texas House of Representatives Committee on Agriculture & Livestock as they considered the interim charge of Resiliency of Texas Agriculture. We highlighted concerns of livestock markets and dealers including labor, land use/development pressure, invasive pest threats, shortage of rural veterinarians, duplicative regulations specifically certification of scales by P&S and Texas Department of Agriculture, and the potential to increase truck weights. We also were able to highlight the resiliency of Union Commission Company in their efforts to continue to serve their customers by effectively marketing their livestock while complying with required NWS response requirements. We were able to provide context and recommendations on the NWS response including the removal of the 48 hour hold requirement for cattle after treatment. We greatly appreciate Chairman Guillen and the committee members for inviting us to testify on these critical concerns.
