Baby got into our orchard so Emmie went to work to get him back to his momma

09/09/2026

Life on a farm can be so rewarding but at the same time so heartbreaking. Today we had to say goodbye to one of our baby calves - Hermione’s baby. It had taken a turn for the worse. The vet thinks it might be cancer. Over the last couple days we tried bottle feeding and antibiotics and a shot of multimin. He just wouldn’t eat or get up and we couldn’t watch him suffer any longer. Rest in peace little guy. 💔.
