I thought I was ready for the end of outdoor growing season this year. I was prepared to peacefully accept the projected 27 degree low coming at the weekend. But when I went into the garden to clean up, I found this fistful of perfect dahlias and felt reinvigorated. Eggplants and peppers are still producing! There are many heads of some of the most beautiful lettuces I’ve ever grown! Tomatillos still on the vine! Yeah ok I’ll get the frost cloth out 😂❄️🥬🫑🌶️

We were so lucky to have perfect weather for the second annual Arro Farm Pig Roast! ☀️🍁🍂 Thank you to all our friends, family, neighbors, customers, and community members who came out to feast and celebrate. Last year we had one birthday, this year two; now aiming for 3 birthday cakes in 2027 🎂🥳 Special shout outs to , Bat Webb, and Chao Zhang who made a long journey to attend, Talia for merch design and manning the sales booth, John Bencid for making sure I had something to eat, and Nicholas Skidmore for bringing all the leftovers in the house from the barn. Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year ❤️❤️❤️

Bresse chickens have arrived! This year’s batch dressed out to 2.5 - 5lbs. The little ones will be perfect for Cornish game hen style recipes. Most are reserved but some are still available for purchase (DM or text 617-595-1284 if interested). Perfect weather to hide inside and roast a delicious chicken! 🍗 🍗🍗

American Bresse chickens dust bathing on a beautiful afternoon 🐔🐔🐔 We still have a few of these rare and delicious birds available for presale! Bresse chickens are famously tender and flavorful; they have thick yellow fat and are referred to as the “wagyu of chicken.” They will be available for pickup from the farm in Honesdale PA after the first week of October.
