Republic Services will delay yard waste, trash, and recycling pickup by one day this week. There will be no service on Mon., Jan 15. Yard waste will be collected on Tues., Jan. 16. Tuesday's route will be collected on Wednesday, Wednesday's route will be collected on Thursday, Thursday's route will be collected on Friday, and Friday's route will be collected on Saturday. Further updates will be provided here, on the city website at www.highlandvillage.org, and through our email newsletter, The Villager.

As a reminder, City administration offices are closed on Monday, January 15 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

How about this? We made all-natural reusable beeswax ices. Just think, if you have ever used those other reusable ice cubes, you have been putting toxic plastic in your drink. You now have a all natural alternative. Stop adding to the plastic landfills. If they break or you no longer want them, no need to throw them out, chew on the wax like gum or melt them down into candles. So many possibilities. All rights belong to Honey Grove Apiaries
