Hope you all had a wonderful Easter. We enjoyed our traditional sweet bread. The recipe has been in my family for generations and was always made to perfection by my beloved Auntie. Sadly we lost her last year but this bread will always evoke truly priceless memories forever. ❤️

Love the smell of these Buttermilk Berry Muffins. Great way to end the week.

INGREDIENTS
2 cups plain flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
200 grams frozen mixed berries
1 cup buttermilk
1 egg
1/4 cup grape seed or canola oil

Preheat oven 190 degrees
Line 12 cup muffin tin

Mix together flour, baking powder and sugar
Add berries (frozen)
Stir to coat the berries with the dry ingredients
Add wet ingredients and stir to just combine.
Spoon into muffin pans

Bake 30 minutes until golden and skewer comes out clean.
ENJOY!!

Even though I always prefer to bake things from scratch I couldn’t resist giving this Golden Gaytime brownie mix from a go. I love anything to do with Golden Gaytime. Growing up, every pay day my dad would come home with a Cherry Ripe for mum and, in winter Colvan chips (giving away my age here 😳) for us kids and in summer, Golden Gaytime ice creams. It was the best! The mix is so easy to do and you only need to add 2 eggs and some butter. The smell is just amazing and the taste, well I certainly recommend giving it a go 😉
