Today’s Fresh Catch Friday brings Kanpachi, a favorite from Hawai‘i’s deep blue waters 🐟💙

Our Kanpachi is raised by the Blue Ocean Mariculture at Keahole Point in Kailua-Kona of the Big Island. Blue Ocean Mariculture is the first finfish cultivation facility in the United States to be certified by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC). Their Hawaiian Kanpachi is raised in the open ocean in deep water submersible pens to ensure proper monitoring and water quality. With a premium diet of fish meal, fish oil, and non-GMO grain, Hawaiian Kanpachi a prized and versatile fish.
