This is as close as you can possibly get to being right on the beach.

At Beach Bar, the sand is just a step away, the ocean breeze is constant, and every table comes with a front-row seat to Waikiki. Whether you’re joining us for sunset cocktails, fresh island flavors, or a leisurely dinner beneath the glow of the banyan tree, there are few places that capture the spirit of Hawaii quite like this.

Beach Bar is open daily from 10:30 AM - 10:30 PM. Walk-ins welcome.

Three days remain until Mauka to Moana returns to the Moana Surfrider. Join us for an evening that celebrates the cultures, traditions, and flavors that have shaped Hawaiʻi through a thoughtfully curated multi-course dining experience, beverage pairings, cultural storytelling with Kainoa Daines, and moon gazing with Stargazers of Hawaii. Set beneath the stars at the First Lady of Waikiki, this is one of those rare evenings where exceptional cuisine, meaningful connection, and a sense of place come together beautifully.
Seats are limited and advance reservations are required.
Reserve through the link in our bio.

There is a moment, just after the sun slips below the horizon when Beachhouse at the Moana becomes something more than a restaurant. The candles flicker with their warm glow. The ocean settles into its ancient, unhurried rhythm. Every dish that arrives, a quiet act of mastery. Beachhouse at the Moana comes alive and the moment envelops you completely.

Before the crowds, before Waikiki became Waikiki, she was here. Deva was planted in 1904 as a seven-foot sapling in the courtyard of Waikiki’s very first hotel, the Moana Surfrider. She has stood through every chapter since.

She witnessed the golden age of Waikiki, the era of the Beach Boys, and the first notes of Hawaii Calls drifting across the ocean. Beneath her canopy, generations have gathered for celebrations, candlelit dinners, weddings, anniversaries, and quiet mornings spent listening to the waves and the breeze moving through her branches.

Today, Deva is 120 years old, 75 feet tall, 150 feet wide, and still growing. Recognized as a Millennium Landmark Tree and one of the oldest living witnesses to Waikiki’s history, she remains the heart and soul of the First Lady of Waikiki.

Only ten nights remain until our next Mauka to Moana dinner. Tonight the sky over Waikiki is dark, the moon hidden from view.

In Hawaii, the new moon marked a moment of stillness and renewal, the close of one cycle and the quiet beginning of the next. A fitting time to look ahead to the evening we have been preparing

On the 25th of June, we gather at the Moana Surfrider to honor that inheritance, bringing together five distinct culinary traditions that have long shaped these islands. Each course is composed of ingredients drawn from local farms and surrounding waters, prepared and served in the spirit of gathering. The night will unfold through the storytelling of cultural practitioner Kainoa Daines, who will share the traditions of navigation and lunar wisdom that guided our ancestors across the Pacific. As the evening continues, guests will turn their eyes skyward through telescopes provided by Stargazers of Hawaii.

Tickets are limited. Please see the link in bio.

Mai Tai magic at the Beach Bar.
Pull up a seat because our very own Andrew is showing you exactly how the Moana Sunset Mai Tai comes together.
It starts with hibiscus-infused Kuleana Rum, then comes a splash of lime, passion fruit, and fresh pineapple, a touch of orgeat and orange cordial, all crowned with a float of dark rum that sinks through the glass like the setting sun itself.
Made fresh, oceanfront, under the historic banyan tree. This is the drink that tastes like Waikiki.
