Y'all, this smoke is no joke. We hope you're able to take care of yourselves out there! We and our employees worked all day, harvesting for market tomorrow, through hazy air that smelled like a campfire and intensely warm temperatures. Some of us wore masks, and we all moved a little slower, but we just kept going.
Harvesting, washing, and packing the produce that will grace your tables this week. We brought in SO much salad mix and arugula, so you don't have to worry about getting a parasite while just trying to eat your greens!
Here's what you can expect to find at Elberta Community Farmers Market tomorrow, and also at our farm stand at 11664 Fewins Rd in Honor:
Salad mix, arugula, microgreens, lettuce heads, cabbage, kale, basil, parsley, carrots, radishes, beets, kohlrabi, fennel, broccolini, eggplant, cucumbers, summer squash, sprouting cauliflower, cherry and heirloom tomatoes, the last of the sugar snap peas, French green beans, new potatoes, and lots of pasture raised pork!
