We are hosting a memorial service for a special friend today. Waking up to this rainbow over the farm was a definite sign that her spirit will be here with all of us. It’s so painful to say goodbye to loved ones. I’m grateful this rainbow over the memorial site is wink from heaven that makes the moment feel a little less heavy. We love you Karen and family.

We are still trimming plants and we are not the only ones out here. The praying mantis population at Hope Ranch Lavender is active. They love our lavender stems as it provides a stable, elevated platform that keep their egg cases off the damp ground through winter. Thank you to my friend Erika Denbrook Moore who took this photo while spending the evening cutting back my lavender.

It was a gorgeous summer at Hope Ranch Lavender. We were blessed with top notch photographers that visited us and shared their inspiring photos. What a great year!
We will be open through Labor Day which means we only have a handful of days left that we will be open to the public for this summer. Come visit us before we close up we are open Thursday-Sunday and Labor Day Monday. I have some fun online product ideas, keep a look out for gifts and online sales from our website.
