The lavender is getting green. They are waking up from the long winters nap and preparing for a beautiful display of flowers for you to enjoy this summer.

Our favorite time of year is just around the corner. When mounds of lavender meet snow capped mountains at Hope Ranch Lavender. We look forward to seeing you this summer at the farm. As always there is no parking or entrance fee and the U-Cut lavender is $10 for a bouquet of culinary grade (no spray) English or French lavender. We expect blooms to start the beginning of June and hit full swing in July and continue the beauty through August. This photo was taken in August with Mount Adams in the distance.

A June wedding at Hope Ranch Lavender makes me think of new beginnings. It is the beginning of the lavender season, the lavender is not quite in full bloom but with each passing day we see more and more purple. By the end of the month is just beginning to hit its peak bloom. July is the month for full bloom but June is fresh and feels like the beginning of something extra special that is blooming and getting sweeter everyday.

Today was difficult but ended on a sweet note when our cow had her baby calf. Animals are such a blessing and their lives bring so much hope, especially the birth of a new calf on the farm.
