We all mourn the loss of Ines. He has been with the company since the beginning. Here are a few words from one of Hood River Cherry Company’s owner Brad Fowler:



“It was over 33 years ago that Ines Lopez walked into my life. That day changed everything. Last night looking back at family photos there he was, leaning against a shovel, driving a tractor, standing with our family. We were so young! Everyone knows that he went on to lead Hood River Cherry Company to where it is today. He was more than just a foreman, he was more like a brother to me. I’m not sure how I’m going to press on without him, but I will try because Ines wouldn’t let me quit. ‘No Bradley we worked too hard, we will never give up’ was one of his favorite comments. Ines had charisma, that strange quality that you are either born with or not. It can’t really be taught. If the person that is born with charisma is also determined, capable and smart then he will be a leader. That was Ines. “



Our thoughts and prayers are with Ines’s family and all who mourn his loss.
