Friends ☀️ We are anticipating major life changes...In less then six months our family will double in size and I(Jenny) will be outnumbered 1-3. That’s right, we’re expecting twin boys! We’ve made what felt like the obvious decision - to sell our lease, buildout investment and restaurant equipment. If you or anybody you know might be interested in an epic downtown restaurant location please send them our way for details. In the meantime, we’ll keep you posted on any changes in our hours and you can always call just to double check. Thank you for the amazing 4+ years. 🤍

We are now making our almond butter in house. Can you taste the difference? We think so. 🥜

I recently had a wake up call. It had been stewing for awhile and I finally hit a breaking point. Running a small business is a lot of moving pieces all of the time and you often feel like your just trying to keep your head above water. Sustainability and eco friendly practices take time and often get pushed to the bottom of the list. I decided that sustainability needed to become a priority. At first I was overwhelmed and wanted to give up on everything. A sustainable restaurant sounds like an oxymoron to me but then I realized we don’t need to do it all at once. We can take steps in the right direction and can’t expect to be teleported to the finish line.

For a few weeks we’ve been changing out our store bought butters by buying bulk organic raw nuts, roasting and blending in house. It’s extra work but we’re cutting back on plastic waste and the unintended positive outcome is we have a much tastier product.

We’ll continue to share our journey to becoming a more sustainable business because we think it’s important and if we don’t share on social media did it really happen? 😜

NEW NEW ✨ Our menu is undergoing some changes. We are in the process of adding new savory bowls and will no longer be serving the ahi tuna poke bowls. We understand this is disappointing to some but as we shift our main focus to sustainability we feel all of our changes will be better for the whole.

Our new menu items are nutrient and dense and full of flavor. Add ons include Wild Alaskan Salmon, Marinated Tofu and avocado. See you this weekend. 🥑

A week late —- Thank you for 4 years Hood River. Shoutout to these two that keep the business and myself on track. They do a lot of the day to day that I find monotonous and boring.They are both extremely hard working, consistent and reliable. Thank you Kris and Savannah for being my rocks. Cheers to four years. We wouldn’t be here without you both. 💛💛
