✨️Some people leave a little magic everywhere they go.✨️ If you know Serynna, you know exactly what I mean.
Over the past year+, Serynna has been facing an unimaginable journey—battling two different and completely unrelated cancers, all while continuing to show up with kindness, grace, and a smile that somehow makes everyone else feel okay. She truly is one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet, sprinkling warmth, joy, and light into every space she enters. She is a magic fairy (but so strong she is made of steel!).

During her time here in Hood River, Serynna built a beautiful community of friends. She has touched so many lives here through her generosity, positivity, and unwavering care for others—even while quietly fighting battles of her own. She has been with our Pear Bloom Family since 2023. I thank God so much for sending us the "walking garden" that is Serynna. The second photo captures her lovingly taking care of some of those details that add the magic! ✨️

A GoFundMe has been created to support Serynna during this time so she can focus fully on healing while she continues treatment and transition her life closer to her family in California, where she can be surrounded by love, support, and care as she navigates this next chapter.

Funds raised will help ease the financial burden of:
• Ongoing medical treatments and recovery
• Relocation expenses as she moves closer to family
• Living expenses during a time when rest and healing must come first

Above all, this fund is about giving Serynna the gift of peace, stability, and space to heal—something she so deeply deserves. Let’s give Serynna some serenity!!

If you’re able to donate, share, or simply hold her in your thoughts, it means more than words can express. Thank you for helping us lift up someone who has given so much love and pure magic to so many.

With gratitude,

Thank you to these amazing photographers for capturing the beauty and magic in Serynna ✨️

🏵 I absolutely LOVE sharing this day with you, but this year we decided not to host a Day of the Dead celebration at Pear Bloom Farm. My energy has been focused on postpartum recovery, my kids, and my family. I’ve been enjoying sweet snuggles with baby Rio.

This photo (by ) beautifully captures the why behind sharing this celebration. My mission with our Día de los Mu***os celebration has always been to help the community learn about this way of remembering and honoring our loved ones. Day of the Dead is recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). I love that they called it “Heritage of Humanity,” and I love that it comes from my ancestors. It’s a gift they gave us, and I feel honored to help share it with the world. I plan to continue doing so this year by sharing more information here on IG—and next year with something BIG (in Pear Bloom fashion, of course!).

My son, Corbin, is at the age where he’s starting to ask questions about death and the cycle of life. And if I’m being honest, I’m really looking forward to spending the Day of the Dead with my family so that he can experience how our family celebrates. I’ll share snippets of that too.

🏵 I invite you to make an ofrenda—no matter how small—and remember your loved ones with love and joy. Even if all you have is one marigold flower in a bud vase and their favorite chocolate bar, remember their funny stories. They’ll join you to laugh together. 🧡

No, you don’t need a picture! I love the movie Coco, but it makes the picture seem like a necessity. The Aztecs didn’t have pictures. All you need is the love in your heart and the memories of them. 🧡

✨️ Meet Kiana, the creator of KKona.
She’s an amazing Indigenous artist who grew up here in the Columbia Gorge and is a member of the Tulalip Tribe in Washington State. Her story is so beautiful!!! 💗

Although she didn’t grow up on the reservation, she felt called to reconnect with her roots and deepen her relationship with the land. In 2021, she moved to the Tulalip Reservation, where she immersed herself in Tulalip traditions and learned Indigenous basket weaving from skilled elders.

When her artist’s hands first touched the cedar, it ignited a passion unlike anything she had felt before. Today, she incorporates these traditional skills into her art, harvesting all her own cedar using sustainable, ancestral methods. She primarily works with cedar and salmon leather.

I’m so excited to feature her floral collection at our farm! She drew inspiration from—and even incorporated—dried, pressed flowers from our fields.

Kiana has several unique collections, including one dedicated to raising awareness about Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.

She is incredibly special for so many reasons—but to me, there’s one extra special reason: she’s the mother of my beautiful niece 💗
