Harvest has arrived in Hood River! We invite you to join us in the trees and pick your own summer pears—this year’s Bartletts are at their absolute peak. The quintessential pear, they turn a soft yellow as they ripen into a juicy, fragrant delight.

Come experience the season’s finest, at your leisure. We look forward to welcoming you. ✨️

P.S. If it seems a bit early, it's because it is. This season has been about 15 days ahead of normal growing time. The good news is...it's time to head to Hood River sooner 🙌

We introduce to you, Garden Tales 🧚 📖 🌼

Join us every Friday at 10am throughout August for a whimsical bilingual storytime tucked away in the Secret Garden. Surrounded by blooms, butterflies, and fresh air, we’ll read beloved children’s books in Spanish and English, where little imaginations can blossom and stories come to life.

Whether your family speaks Spanish fluently, is just beginning to learn, or simply loves the magic of a good book, everyone is welcome.

We’re counting down to our 5th Annual Pear Bloom Run on April 18th, 2026 and we can’t wait to see you under the pear blooms.

At 10 am, our little runners get their moment with the Tulip Tot Run 💛 Kiddos will race alongside blooming tulips beneahh the the pear trees - yes, it’s as magical as it sounds.
