Hawleywood Acres is running a great special this weekend!!!! Come down to our tent at Millard Market & BBQ to sign up for a half or whole hog and save $50.00 on a whole and $25.00 on a half!!! This batch goes to the locker the first week of September so it will be ready about 15th of September. This is one of our last batches until 2027. Now is the perfect time to get your freezer stocked for fall and winter!! These are pasture raised, no antibiotics or added hormones, raised with love, kindness and marshmallows.😜You won’t find better pork anywhere. Nice and lean with great flavor! Happy to give references and please feel free to reach out with any questions!!!☺️

We can also bring some of our delish roasting chickens if you preorder them.

BIG shoutout to everyone who came out to see us and all the AWESOME vendors at the Millard Market & BBQ today even though the heat was Nebraska awful😜. We had a great day with lots of laughs. We would also like to give a shoutout to BIG Meats and Jojos Shnackie Snacks!!! If you’ve never had a BIG Meats burger you are missing out!!! And the strawberry pineapple sorbet from Jojos is something that you’d get at Disneyland!!! While we workin hard and sweatin even more at the market today we had a delish lunch and the most refreshing dessert treat we’ve had in a long time. So next Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm I personally invite EVERYONE to come on down and do some shopping from local vendors and treat yourself to lunch and desert!!!

This makes me LIVID!!!😡. We had said all along that there was absolutely no reason for egg prices to be what they were. We were so sure that we were right, that we never raised our prices during the price hikes. It feels a little like a win for us knowing that we went against the “norm” and did the RIGHT thing when everyone was jumping on the bandwagon. It is very disappointing that each of the 3 companies are only being fined $1.1 million dollars. That is a drop in the bucket compared to what they gained during that time. They should be ashamed, but sadly I don’t believe that care one bit about what they did to the American consumers.

The U.S. Justice Department and 17 states have reached settlement agreements with three major egg producers over allegations of that the companies illegally colluded in a multiyear scheme to raises prices.
