Find one that can work with you and your families needs❤️

Whole beef too much for your freezer? Not a problem - ask about individual cuts. 🥩

Half a hog just not going to fit? Nothing wrong with that - ask about sampler boxes! 🥓

There's options to ensure you're feeding your family REAL meat. Real live stock. Cared for daily. Their worst day is their last - and that results in quality meat in YOUR freezer.

Well Pearl sure surprised us this morning...

We knew she was close (she was in her maternity ward as I call it) and busted out to go have her piglets where SHE wanted. Which turned out fine in the end - she's a very good momma ❤️

She ended up having 18! 16 are living (2 were stillborn)🐽

🍁Fall is here🍁

Our girls got moved to a new pasture and are enjoying grazing some new grass. 🐂

They have been previously rotational grazing in another section, however that area needed to have a rest - so down the road these girls (and boys) went 😊

Pasture management (especially avoiding overgrazing) is incredibly important to ensure healthy land and prevent killing new growth the coming years 🌱

Weaning time is approaching for our girls! We got the calves in and got weights on them

Why weigh you might ask?

This helps us know which mothers are producing well and those that arent.

For example -
A calf at weigh in weighing 600lbs is great, whereas a calf weighed on the same day at 350lbs isnt doing as well as we'd like!

Why does this actually matter?
This helps us regulate who will become a permanent part of the herd(replacement heifer) and who will move onto feed our lovely customers in time❤️

She had 12 piglets total, one was still born and the other was very small and didnt finish developing all the way ❤️

For a first time momma, she sure has her hands full😊
