Happy New Year from HGF!
As we bid farewell to 2024, we can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey this past year has brought us.
It’s been a whirlwind of joy, growth, and unforgettable memories!
We’ve welcomed new four-legged friends to our HGF family, watched our horses flourish in their training, and celebrated many successful workshops and even made a return to the show ring with huge success!
Each equine-assisted session, every ride and every quiet moment spent with these magnificent animals has filled our hearts and countless others with gratitude.
Our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to ensure the well-being of our horses, and we’re proud of the community we’ve built together.
From our weekly programming to at risk youth, residential youth, and our amazing Veterans/Active Duty Workshops to fun farm events, it's been wonderful to connect with fellow horse enthusiasts, mental health providers and community members and share in the love for these majestic creatures.
In Memorium, we lost our beloved Tigger in October and Mo aka Mozart in September. They were both magnificent horses in their own right. Tigger had countless fans and beloved students who cherished him deeply. He was always a rock in grounding sessions and stood still for many a tear and gripping hug. It was a huge blow to our team but we feel so grateful to have had him the last 4 years of his long 27ish years. I have a feeling both Tigger and Mo will be watching over us all in greener pastures under majestic rainbows!
Thank you to all our clients, team members, vendors, farriers, veterinarians, school districts, residential programs, and supporters for being a vital part of our journey this year. I am sure I am forgetting someone and my apologies if I do.. it truly takes a huge team to make this farm run and provide the type of programming that is changing lives and providing compassion, support and pure joy!
Your enthusiasm and passion keep us motivated and inspired every day. As we step into 2025, we look forward to more adventures, new challenges, and even more cherished moments with our horses and friends. Here’s to another year of riding into new horizons! Wishing you all a joyful and prosperous New Year!
With love,
Jamie Z and all the creatures and humans at HGF!!
