As y'all may have noticed, I have not set my stand up this year.. I have wanted to, but I was not going to have the help I've had in the past.. I was desperately looking for a trailer to keep the work load lighter on me, especially when it came to the coolers.. I've lost a lot of strength, and I am not able to carry/lift coolers full of ice and water on my own anymore.. I now know why..

On Friday May 30th, I went to the hospital with what I thought was a kidney infection.. This however, was not the case.. I have now been diagnosed with a rather large tumor in my colon..

I love my business, but I need to take time to fight this (and I will!) and heal.. I will miss all my vendor friends and customers, and I wish y'all the best! Thank you for supporting my little business!

Good afternoon royal family! We are scheduled for the John Blue Cotton Festival next Saturday (Oct 12th).. We have been looking forward to this event for two years!! We are just over a week away, and now we are not sure if we will be able to attend.. Our buisness relies on fresh citrus fruit.. Between the devastation in our southern states and the port strike, we may not be able to get supplies!! Yes, we can get the fruit we need now, but we cannot assure they will keep, and we refuse to give our family beverages made with store bought citrus juice or even worse, powdered products!! We would never give you ANYTHING that is subpar! Our standards are much too high, and we have too much respect for you to do that! We will be monitoring the situation closely, and make a decision by Monday.. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by Hurricane Helene!

Have y'all missed us?!? I know we've missed y'all!! Looks like the rainy weather has broken, and it's supposed to be dry through the weekend after today!! With that being said, we will be setting up at the ice machine in Hope Mills Wed-Sun!!! Kiddos are getting ready to get back to school, so stop by and see us while you are doing your back to school shopping!! Can't wait to see y'all again!!

After 3 weeks of at least SOME rain EVERY day (except I think TWO!), we are going to get slammed!! I absolutely hate that we have not been able to set up for y'all, not because of the money, but because I absolutely LOVE what I do and I miss it! I miss y'all!

This is going to be very similar to Matthew for us if the track stays true.. Let me give you a little perspective on what that means for my family.. During Matthew, we had 3 feet of water in the yard, that our son and I had to wade through to save our animals.. Our neighborhood had become an island, and we could not leave to go ANYWHERE or do ANYTHING for 4 days, and we were without power much longer..

At this point in time, I am unsure when we will be setting up again, but I don't see it happening for at least 2 weeks.. I definitely refuse to throw in the towel.. I mean, we will need it to dry everything off when this stuff is over with! 🤣 (Gotta have humor, right? Lol)

I know this area had been deeply impacted by both Matthew and Florence, and seems it will again be this time around! Our thoughts, prayers, positive energies and good jujus go out to everyone!

I am deeply sorry for not setting up for a few weeks.. As y'all know, I work out of a tent setup, and the weather has been absolutely horrible and unpredictable! Most of the storms we get have heavy downpours and high winds.. It is impossible for me to comfortably set up because of this!

I also need at least 2 days to prep, and this cannot be done in the rain.. I refuse to set up with dirty equipment or old fruit!! The weather patterns are very unstable right now, but
I promise that when the weather stabilizes, I will be out serving you again! Thank you so much for understanding!

On a side note, if anyone has or know anyone who has a pop up camper they would be willing to donate for me to convert so that I am able to set up in rain, let me know!!

As y'all know, Mother nature has not been very kind to us for the past week.. The rain and potential for strong storms has prevented us from coming out to Hope Mills.. Unfortunately, it looks as though that will be the case again this weekend! We will keep an eye on the weather though, and if we get a chance to come out, we will definitely let y'all know!!
