Thank you to all who visited Hardy Farms this season. In spite of some very windy days or those that were misty while waiting for the sun you came to pick apples, spend time with family and friends and enjoy the arrival of autumn with the vibrant colors suddenly appearing in trees. You are what makes these weeks festive and fun. Thank you and let’s do this again next year.

Hardy Farms will be open Oct 12 from 8:30 to 4:30 for pick your own apples. However peck and half peck picked bags will not be available.

What a wonderful weekend on the hill at Hardy Farms. Thank you to our official orchard mascot, Ducktrap, our son’s Irish Setter, for welcoming all who came into the apple shed with wagging tail. He is looking forward to Columbus Day weekend too. We will be open Saturday, Sunday and Monday 8:30 - 4:30.

Thank you to all the people who braved the windy and cloudy Sunday to pick apples. Several for the first time! New Englanders bucked up and got their apples in spite of the increasing winds. Thank you thank you! Hopefully next weekend will have 2 beautiful days! 🍎🍏❤️

Weather update; cold-55, raw, damp wind at 6 - 15 mph, ground/grass wet, apple leaves wet, apples wet.

We will open at noon until 3:30.

We have Cortlands in 5 and 10 Lb. bags until they are gone; no utility bags.

McIntosh; we have only (2) 20 Lb bags of utilities left. No small bags.

It looks good for Saturday being open. A word about the wind…we are at the top of the hill and are fully exposed to it. So keep that in mind…jackets sweatshirts etc are a good idea as the wind increases in intensity. Sunday we will be closed…again.😢😢

Yay we got some rain but it rained out the afternoon on Sunday. Wet orchard, wet apples…not fun. Well fingers crossed for next weekend. Thank you to all who contributed to a great opening of the orchard in spite of a rainy Sunday afternoon. Onward to next weekend.

We are looking forward to visiting with our son and the Hardy Farms mascot Irish Setter…Ducktrap…know as Duck. A point of information following is the Federal Food Safety Act. Duck cannot be in the orchards during Apple Season. That also includes visitors who bring their dogs that must remain in the vehicle but we have walking areas away from the orchards and around the pond and in that vicinity. Thank you for your cooperation.

🦆 Ducktrap is looking forward to seeing all his friends for apple season this year! He'll be visiting Hope the weekends of September 26 and October 3rd so if you're coming those weekends you'll be able to say hi. 🦆
