My solid wool dryer balls are very popular this year as gifts. I have many mixed colors available. Each one weighs an ounce and a half and are about the size of a tennis ball. Just put them in your dryer and let them soften your clothes, speed drying time and take out static. Only $7.50 each and they last for years. I recommend two to four as a set to work the best. Call me at (740) 221-2588 to order. Shipping on 1 to 6 balls is $4.00. Over 6 balls is $8.00.

Getting a fleece washed almost every day. Tge white one is Crissie, my go to girl for white white wool, like for an owl or cat. Her wool is whiter than the processed Merino I buy, but not as fine.

The blue and green is Mark. I also added some light green dyed sparkles. I hope to get them carded next month at Wooly K**b Fiber Mill in Indiana.

Our cat, Arya, waits in the sheep barn every morning to see if she gets to lick up the cantaloupe juice from the bowl after I give the sheep the rind. It is funny how cats love cantaloupe juice--and most of them do once they try it.

The morning line up in the sheep barn hoping for a treat to be fed from my hand --and they are not often disappointed. I usually have a sliced banana or apple for them. Or cantaloupe rind or strawberry tops. These 4 are the only sheep who have learned to bite at something held in my hand. Others don't know what to do, but will eat from a tray on the ground. All my sheep have names. From the left: Mark, Shawn, Finalee, and Arianna on the bottom.

Moving more wool down to my studio at 625 Main Street today. I'm trying to get all the curly wool locks sorted out to make little sheep in my next class.

A basket full of wool dryer balls. I know they will end up in clothes dryers where they won't be seen but I like to make them pretty any way.

Friea's fleece is transformed from yellowish greasy wool to white fluffy wool to fresh green salad like wool. I was thinking new leaves in the springtime greens, actually. It will be carded and the colors blended somewhat eventually. Freia is one of our older ewes who still has beautiful soft wool for spinning and felting.
