Hereās something you wonāt find in stores! Cucamelons, mouse melons, mini watermelons, Mexican sour gherkins, pepquinos⦠whatever you call them, these are great halved, and tossed into a salad. You can also make a jar of fridge pickles with them to snack on. Raw, they taste like a cross between a lemon and a cucumber. Very refreshing! šš„
Stop by the farm stand between 10am and 6pm, today and grab yourself a jar full! All of the containers on our farm stand are yours to take with you, EXCEPT for our woven baskets. Please donāt take those! š But, come grab yourself a jar of cucmelons, and try something new! Theyāre a great way to get your kids to try some veggies! š
Todayās other offerings include assorted tomato varieties, pickling cucumbers, assorted peppers, and eggplant!
We are located at 133 S Sunset Cir in Hopkinsville (in front of Indian Hills Elementary School & the old HHS building). Hope to see you there! š
As always, produce is *FREE*, and first-come, first-serve!!! Donations are always appreciated, but never expected! Any donations made, 100% will be used to upgrade and improve the garden to better serve our community! There is a donation box and payment QR codes at the stand for donations.
