And, yes, sometimes I feel the need to speak out in favor of my fellow human beings - even those who are not fond of me. (Can you believe there are those?!😆)
TO REMAIN QUIET AND HIDE IN OUR HOMES IS TO SHOW APPROVAL!

By staying home, you are allowing unlawful actions to take place against innocent people. What if later, your innocent group/family becomes the target and no one stands up for you? That's what happened in Germany. The government counted on creating enough fear and hate that no one would step in to help innocent people.
Today, any immigrants, tomorrow, LGBTQ, next, autistic people (RFK has already talked about rounding them up to send them to a "special camp"), then the weak (mentally ill and elderly), and people of color... Are you or any of your family included in these categories? The German citizens didn't believe it could happen either, but:

BREAK DOWN OF GERMAN VICTIMS (1933–1945):

1. Political Prisoners/Dissidents: Tens of thousands of German political opponents, including communists, socialists, trade unionists, and pacifists, were executed, died in concentration camps, or disappeared.
2. "Euthanasia" Program (Aktion T4): Approximately 200,000 to 300,000 Germans with physical or mental disabilities were murdered in state-run institutions and concentration camps.
3. "Asocials" and Criminals: Tens of thousands of Germans deemed "asocial" or "professional criminals" were murdered in concentration camps.
4. German Jews: Between 160,000 and 180,000 German Jews were murdered as part of the Holocaust.
5. Other Groups: Jehovah's Witnesses (about 1,700), and homosexuals (hundreds to thousands) were also killed. (Holocaust Encyclopedia+5)

THIS IS WHY WE CANNOT HIDE IN OUR HOMES AND REMAIN SILENT. ANY GROUP OF PEOPLE CAN BECOME THE "ENEMY" AT ANYTIME. ARE YOU OR YOUR FAMILY MEMBER IN THE NEXT GROUP?

I'm having to do some drastic pruning this season. These shrubberies were starting to take over! All of that extra shade and moisture content has really done a job on the south side exterior - especially in that one corner. I may have killed a couple, but they should probably be replaced anyway, and it will be tricky as their root system is really well developed now. The next step will be to re-side the whole front of the house this summer. 😬

Just a warning to all of you homeowners and homeowner wannabes out there. It's tough to find good help these days. Here you can see my assistant helping me to remove the cuttings from some shrubberies I hacked. All of those little branches are how he helped get cuttings to the woods.🙄😆
